Waynesville, Ohio

The "Antiques Capital of the Midwest" SM

The “Old Main Street” historic district features five blocks of charming historic buildings, brick sidewalks, copper street lamps, flower boxes and benches for resting or people watching. Waynesville will take you back to the days when people “went to town” to shop.

Over 70 antique and specialty shops, galleries, custom woodworking and restaurants offer an ever changing inventory that will thrill and delight as you find antiques and collectibles of every kind. Walking Magazine named this quaint village one of the country’s “most walkable communities”.

Visit the Museum at the Friends Home for the displays, special exhibits, cultural events and living history demonstrations. The museum is in the Historic Quaker District, which includes several meeting houses, a Quaker cemetery and a school.
